Privacy policy

lucina.io lists upcoming and recently released games. Reading it needs no account. The rest of this page explains the three things that can involve data about you: ads, analytics and signing in with Discord.

Ads are served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites, and to measure them. You can opt out of personalised ads in Google's ad settings, and read how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a consent message from Google asks for your choice before any advertising cookies are set. You can change that choice later from the same message.

Page views are counted with Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not store IP addresses or any identifier that follows you across sites. It records the page, the referrer, and coarse details such as country, browser and device type.

Signing in is optional. Reading the site never needs it; it is for applying to guilds, posting recruitment for a server you run, and editing the site. When you sign in, Discord sends us your Discord user ID, username, avatar, email address and the list of servers you belong to. We store those, your role on this site, and a session cookie that keeps you signed in. The server list is used to show which guilds you belong to and to let you post recruitment for servers you run. Recruitment posts are public; applications are shown only to the guild you applied to. We never post to Discord or read your messages.

To delete this data, sign out and contact us at vincent@lucina.io; your account is removed within 30 days.

The site runs on Vercel and stores its data with MongoDB Atlas. Both process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms. We do not sell personal data.

This page changes when the site does; the date at the top says when. Questions go to vincent@lucina.io.
